COOYONS Restaurant in Mountain Home

We found it purely by accident. IT WAS AMAZING! The staff was friendly and the owner was great. The food is great! I have only been to New Orleans once and the food was always the best. This is it. So good. I would recommend it to anyone staying in the area and it helps out a family owned business!

I eat here as often as I can. Working my way through the menu! Been several times and it's all good!

My parents tried Cooyons and were delighted, I can't wait for my next visit to Mountain Home. I'll be retirning in Cotter next year and welcome some variety in choices! My parents had Po' Boys and amazing Beignets, they were pleased!

Service is excellent, and food is best seafood in town. We are staying here for few months and this is great food.

So glad we have this fantastic Cajun restaurant in our town! They have so many wonderful dishes to choose from that everyone will be sure to find something they like. The owners and staff are great. They make you feel right at home. I had the fried fish and meat pies on one of my recent visits. SO GOOD

I can’t say enough about this restaurant. The owners and staff are top notch and way above any kind of service you will receive from any restaurant in town. I have eaten here several time and everything on the menu is great, but the BBQ shrimp is the bomb. I’m so glad y’all opened back up.

Absolutely best restaurant I have ever been to!

The restraunt was almost empty when we got there.There was only our table and two others.Our waitress was very nice.We waited 30 mins for food our food. The table beside us got their food before us and we were seated first by a good 15 minutes before them.The wait was awful. I guess if you dont order the seafood you have to wait longer.When we ordered dessert, we had to wait 20 minutes for it to be done. Then they over charged us.For our drinks and extra food we did not order.The food is good. But not worth the wait or the price. Everything is over priced. For example -$2.50 for a soda, yikes.Portion sizes were a good size, except for the desserts they are small.Would try it again, if there were some changes made.

This place was great! We had the alligator bites for our appetizer, hamburger, shrimp po boy and crawfish etouffee for our entrees, and an order of beignets for dessert. So good! Cooyons is a must!

We heard rave reviews about Cooyons from friends and coworkers. When we heard they were open for curbside service, could not wait to try. We were not disappointed!! From the very nice lady who took my order over the phone, the friendly pickup, and the delicious food, Cooyons will be an added treat for our household! You all are wonderful! Thank you for making sure our food was hot when my husband picked it up. The potato salad was exactly how I make it, the fish was so tender and perfectly seasoned. I can not wait until our next restaurant night! I'm ordering that catfish po-boy! You all are wonderful and 'Nick' says to add his hello and thanks too!! 🙂

I'm not much for seafood, but their food is exceptional! I had a pasta chicken with a creole twist and it turned my world upside down. The special soda that they have is incredible too. I absolutely loved the vanilla flavored one!

We are from Louisiana and the food at Cooyon’s was top notch! The service was great and the staff was so welcoming. We tried the red beans and rice, the gumbo and the shrimp Po boy. All were delicious! Everything was well seasoned and we enjoyed it all. We will be back for sure.

Great food and service. Prices are not very expensive for the good quality Louisiana cuisine.

Super great Cajun food. Not super spicy for those of us that can't handle it. But you can request they kick it up for those that like the authentic spicy Cajun.

This place is LEGIT! We have eaten at Cooyons 10+ times now and the food is incredible every time. Crawfish Etouffee, Jambalaya and Red Beans & Rice are all amazing. I highly recommend you get extra bread, it is worth it.

Very friendly staff and the Cajun food is excellent. I spent four years in the Nawlins area and know what real Cajun food is like. The food here at Cooyons is the real deal. We now have a favorite restaurant here in Mountain Home

Very expensive. Gumbo delicious and fries yummy. Great service. The rest of the meal so-so. Will NOT be going back.

So while in mountain home we decided to try the local Cajun restaurant...being from Louisiana we tend to be a little picky as it's almost impossible to find good Cajun food in other states! This place does not disappoint!! The food is absolutely amazing and this is coming from a cook🙂 The food was so good that we ate there both nights we were in town ...the waitress Megan was very helpful and friendly and quick to get you anything you asked for! We also has a chance to talk to the owner and she is also awesome! Can't wait to come back and we will be back because the food is just that good ...it's the kind of place you plan a trip around! Unfortunately I only took the one picture to make the husband jealous that I was having his fav food...soft shell crab! Anyhow I can't say enough about this place ...just do your mouth a favor and try it out!

What a wonderful surprise. Saw a sign on side of truck. We visit the area every year in June, super excited to come back next year!!!

We all tried different burgers. They we're all amazing. The fried okra was seasoned perfectly and tasted great. The corn fritters were so light and fluffy, and perfectly golden. Everything was so delicious! Great meal, great service. We look forward to coming back, and would highly recommend it.

We sure miss you kids. Wish you could have stayed open just doing pick-up orders. Wish you would reconsider. Your website now says you're permanently closed. Does that mean you're never going to open again? That would be horrible! Well if and when you hopefully reopen you should have a party I know my wife and I would be there. Hope to see you soon. I had the shrimp po-boy and it was amazing, I usually say no to all vegetables but I figured i might as well try it with what it came with and im glad i did. Would definetly visit again

Awesome, authentic Cajun food.

Oh my goodness!!!!! Food was amazing!! I had the crawfish etouffee and regretted that I just couldn't eat all of it!! My sister had the fried shrimp and said it was definitely fresh which is a huge plus in our world!! Tried the alligator bites and they were out of this world delicious!! The loaf bread was so light and went perfectly with the etouffee!!! Definitely will be back and no qualms about recommending it!! Wasn't so much a fan of the Stubborn sodas we tried.... next time I will just have water :-)

Forgot to take a picture. I had the fish platter. Got it blackened instead of fried and it was so good. It came with fries, 3 corn fritters and either potato salad or cole slaw. I got the cole slaw. Very good!!
